Mini compte-rendu: Japan Impact 2015

hello, shooting star~ ♪

completed at 1 am please forgive my terrible english

Goodbye 2014!! Onwards to 2015!!!! yes, we are in february now. forever late, I guess!
To be honest, I don't remember much of last year...But now that I look back at it, a lot of stuff happened ! I guess it's easier to focus on the present, uh...Anyway, I'm surprised by the end of this year, since I was able to make many good memories. I usually spend the whole Christmas break in front of my computer, but this time, I surprinsingly did a lot of socializing. Meeting up with my friends during the vacation brightened my sulking days ww

I didn't manage to achieve all my 2014 goals, but I'm going to do better this year ! It's surprising how easy it is to take everything for granted...Once you stop thinking this way, you can accomplish so much more !!

A 2014 review :
Taken from mellyart ! I only chose a few of them, though.

What countries did you visit?
I'm going to mention everything that is not my town, so...Switzerland, France, Italy and China !!

► Lausanne (Japan Impact)
I won a special pass (which was pretty useless in the end, but, um, okay) for this con, so I spent two days there !! I mostly spoke with my friends, though, since it was a small con...I was really happy to meet Elyann and Chada properly !! They were really nice and I couldn't stop laughing thanks to them ww

Montreux (Polymanga)
Once again, I had the chance to help the Matryoshka circle at their table ! They're are the most adorable people ever, I swear. Met a lot of people again, and new friends, too !! Kiwi and Anika!! They were so cute and talking to them was one of my best memories of this con ! ^o^

Annecy, France
I went there for a day with my family and mom's friends. The weather was nice, and we discovered a lot of the city ! I wish my mother had let me more time to visit the castle, though......sigh

Paris, France (Japan Expo)
omg it was so awesome I can't even---
(Emi is the best!!)

Genova, Italy
The aquarium was so expensive. and so crowded. I enjoyed it, but it's not worth the price.............
We walked around and stuff! It was a nice trip.

China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou)
Now that I'm back, it feels like a dream...Did we really go there, woah!?
It was awesome !! I took notes during the trip, so I'll write about it someday! (maybe)
holy shit I actually went on so many trips and wow
I'm really grateful to everyone who made those possible!!

What would you like to have in 2015 that you lacked in 2014?
Confidence and self-esteem ! And I'll definitely try to be less self-centered.

Where did most of your money go?
 Figures and anime goods........................o o p s

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Persona 3 movies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Minato bby!!!!
My magical clothes at JE and meeting friends again!!!

What song will always remind you of 2014?
Mmmh...I can think of two songs:
【RE:CHORD】 One Ok Rock - The Beginning (it was everywhere holy shit)
Super Beaver - Rashisa (Barakamon is a precious sunshine)

How did you spend Christmas?
With my friends, playing Smash bros wiiU and Sweet day (Nintendo land) !!!!!!
I had so much fun!!

What was your favorite TV program?
laugh lets talk about animu here : Mushishi Zoku Shou, Haikyuu!!, Barakamon, Free Eternal summer, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, etc. WELL THERE WERE A LOT I LIKED----

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Some of my friends prepared a small surprise party!! It really meant a lot to me, since I'm really scared of bothering people and everything. (I turned 19 !)

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2014?
w-what's fashion...........................my clothes were really plain until autumn, and then I tried to make an effort....or something....I don't know how to dress nicely?? so it's kind of terrible, really.

What kept you sane?
Friends and 2D boys (shipsssss) laughs

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2014.
Stop taking everything for granted. Be grateful for the good things that happens to you.
And that quote : "Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you."

Drawing-wise
2014 was clearly a bad year, but I'll definitely be more productive this year. Yep, really.

2015 Goals

Draw more!!!
I've already started to work on that, and it feels so nice to save a finished doodle. I keep comparing myself to others and feeling envious/jealous of their talent, but I want to be able to use those negative thoughts to work and improve instead. I'll keep practising until I can convey emotions through my drawings !!!!

Study properly !!
Discovered the studyblr/studyspo community recently!!! And it's such a nice one. Seeing so many people motivated to study instead of the usual "procrastination is cool" on tumblr makes me want to study too. I'm almost done with high school, so I'll try to hang in there!

Make a better use of my money laughs
Especially to buy ice tea during lunch, or little snacks that I really don't need.

Make more time for what I like to do and stress less over things I can't change
I need to tell myself to stop crying and panicking over school and relationships and and and...

Become a better person, a happier person
I hope I'll be brave enough to seek for professional help someday. For now, I'll just try not to hate myself as much as I did last year and be a little happier!

I have a lot of other small goals I'd like to accomplish this year, but I guess it's another story for another day. Thank you for reading !

Odds and ends

Hello! Merry belated Christmas, or happy new year in advance !
It's nice to be able to breathe and laze around after all those finals ! Strangely enough, it was not as terrible as I thought it would be. (Except for maths. Buuuut we don't talk about maths. Shhh.)
